Curetons Fine Food was founded in September 2011 by Henry Cureton. After completing his A levels he decided to promote game as a viable food source by recreating some of his grandmothers recipes.
With his Great Grandmothers making cheese for the Royal family, he is the fourth generation to cook in the family kitchen at Ellesmere. He prepares and pots this very special range of foods using the traditional method of preserving fresh food which was used before the advent of cans, and with no artificial flavourings or preservatives.
The first products went on sale in December 2011 and the range expanded in January 2012 introducing a small range of hand crafted pies, and recreating the famous Pheasant sausage that his father created some 10 years ago.
